I read this book to my children 25 years ago and it is still as wonderful as I remember it. My grandchildren loved it.

A childhood classic that belongs in every child's library. It's good to be reminded that bad things can happen to everyone, even in Australia.

I was disappointed when I got the book for my son. This story has always been one of my favorites, so I was excited to see it available. However, when I did open the book I found that it was not in color and just not like I remembered it being years ago. I will be going to the bookstore to buy a different version.
