The Purpose of Christmas
What a wonderful book about the real meaning of Christmas. What I loved is it can bring people closer to God. Also a great tool to use if you care about someone, and they have not been saved or know Jesus.
I have found great joy in this book. Plus, I was reminded of somethings I have forgotten to do on a daily bases. That is to pray for the people I love so that all can be saved, and pray for others so that they can know our Savior.
When you open this book say a prayer for the gift that God gave us. That Jesus loved us so much that He died for us so that we could have eternal life with Him. If you have a friend or loved one that does not know Jesus Christ, then take this book to them so they can learn that Jesus is the reason for the season. Also that they are never alone when they have Christ in their hearts. What a blessing this book has been to me.
It is a fast read yet powerful book.

This book is well written and I am sure that it gives many of the Christian faith something to belive in. It is a good piece of fiction. It is just sad, to me, that so many do not even know where their holiday rituals started. I doubt that many would believe that "Christmas" was started so that early Christians would not be persecuted for practicing a new religion. That "Christmas" is based off of a Pagan holiday of Yule. Anyways, I am sure my Mother in Law will love this book.

This book was wonderful, I read it at Christmas to my family and we all answered the two questions, we had a birthday party for Jesus and a cake. everyone enjoyed the reading. Then we played the white elephant game with presents, presents from something from our home and that was a blast, several items were home made. It just made it more special all around, it was my favorite christmas ever and it was very special. When you make christmas worldly and get yourself in debt, the joy is taken out of it. We didn't buy christmas presents, we had a wonderful dinner and a birthday party for Jesus, everyone went home with something special, a wonder memory, and a gift from the white elephant game. Truly an awesome book!!!

We read this book for a small group at our church (along with the DVD). Our group really seemed to enjoy. I am a huge fan of Rick Warren anyways. I feel that this book is great for all ages.
