She is read to at naptime and bedtime everyday. She loves the David books (I have read them to her when I visit.) and requested it over and over again. She loves the other David books too. In fact I probably wouldn't have ordered this had I not known she liked the other David books so much.

Great Christmas Book for reluctant readers

I have used this book with over 20 kids (ages 3-8) in my work as a speech language pathologist. Even my most reluctant readers enjoyed this book and asked to read it again and again. The illustrations really get kids talking as they love to yell at David for his silly actions and bad behaviors. They love it and often make the funniest comments! If you can take a joke and aren't too serious, then you will love this book.

I just received this book as it was a featured selection. It is terrible and I am at a loss for words as to the thoght process that went into selecting this book for a CBOMC featured selection. It is really unfortunate that with all of the wonderful books with holiday themes that can teach our kids something about traditions, other cultures, and/or the "spirit" of the season, that this book made the cut. I suppose there is something for evereyone, but this one is not for us.
